  • Local Document Processing: All image processing, edge detection, conversion to PDF format, and document storage are performed strictly locally on your device. We do not upload, store, or monitor your scanned documents, images, or metadata on external servers.

  • No Account Registration: The Application does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide personal details (such as your name or email address) to use its core features.

2. Device Permissions

To provide its core scanning functionalities, the Application requires access to the following device components, which are entirely controlled by you:

  • Camera: Used exclusively to capture photographs of the physical documents you wish to digitize.

  • Storage (Read/Write): Used solely to save the generated PDF files locally on your device and to allow you to export or share them.

3. Third-Party Services, Analytics, and Advertising

To support app maintenance, optimize user retention, and ensure a premium experience, the Application integrates third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs). These providers may collect technical, pseudonymized data (such as device identifiers, hardware models, and advertising IDs):

  • Google AdMob: Used to serve advertisements within the Application. AdMob handles data in compliance with regional privacy regulations and Google’s Consent Management Platform (CMP) policies for regional traffic (including the European territories and Mexico).

  • Firebase Analytics: Used to collect anonymous usage statistics and user engagement metrics (such as retention rates, screen views, and app performance logs) to help us improve the Application’s stability and design. No personal document content is ever tracked.

  • Google Play In-App Billing / Purchases: Used to securely process transactions for premium features or subscriptions. All financial data, payment processing, and billing authentication are handled directly and securely by Google Payments; EdsApps does not collect or store your credit card or financial records.

4. Data Security and User Control

  • No Cloud Storage: Because we do not use external servers for your documents, your files remain under your absolute control.

  • Data Deletion: If you uninstall the Application or clear its data via your device settings, all files saved within the Application’s private directory will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered by us.

5. Children’s Privacy

Our Application does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13, as the app does not possess the technical infrastructure to harvest or transmit personal identifiers over the network.
